Complete a sequence of documents with changing goals and seeded board events. Letters stay on each board until a later group overwrites them.

Rule glossary · Languages and board modifiers

Mortal language / US English: The current standard document uses English words from the offline lexicon. Fantasy-language labels describe board rules; they do not replace the real-world dictionary. Standard words run horizontally or vertically and contain at least three letters.
Persistent board: Scoring leaves letters on the board. A placed group replaces its landing cells. A new word must combine group letters with at least one existing board letter; the same spelling in the same cells does not score again.
Wanted Words: Find two of three targets and meet the score goal. Targets are worth at most 12 base letter points. Marked word fragments and matching groups help complete them. New untimed boards award no extra time for targets.
Heat: Reusing a space adds one point on its second use and every second use afterward, up to three heat points per tile in a word.
Chain: Consecutive scoring placements multiply the placement total: start at 1×, add 0.25× each time, and cap at 3×. A placement without a new word resets the chain.
Combo: Creating several new words in one placement multiplies its total by 1 + 0.15 per additional word. Shorter words contained in a longer scored word do not count separately.
Rich Ink: This board event adds 2 points to every new word before placement multipliers.
Long View: This board event multiplies each word of six or more letters by 1.5 before placement multipliers.
Hot Streak: This board event raises each chain step to 0.5×; the chain still caps at 3×.
Loadout and mastery: Equipment, researched language knowledge, and word or tile mastery can add word points. The word history shows the applied bonuses and full scoring calculation.

Choose commissions at the college. Each normal document has a score target and one extra goal: Wanted Words, Word Count, Long Word, Letter Hunt, or Crossing. Ruin cells lock after three covering plays. Build begins with 10 free placements outside the allowance. Every document carries a seeded event modifier. Reusing a cell builds heat; consecutive scoring placements build chain, and multiple words add combo. Full scoring details appear in word history.

The first four rows start clear; other cells start as seeded weighted letters or empty. Groups of three to seven letters pass over board letters and replace their landing cells. Automatic descent begins after five seconds and advances every eight seconds; Down moves one row immediately and repeats every 0.25 seconds while held. New runs score valid horizontal or vertical words of at least three letters, plus two-letter words containing J, Q, X, or Z: AX, EX, JO, OX, QI, XI, XU, ZA. Each placement must create a new instance extending beyond its group. The whole word scores, but shorter words contained in a longer word from the same placement do not score separately. Saved runs retain their original scoring rules.

Offline prototype lexicon: ENABLE2K (173,528 entries). It is a broad public-domain word list, not the current licensed North American tournament list.
